Mysuru: With Mysuru district Congress leaders expressing their dissatisfaction over party giving ticket to medico H N Ravindra to contest the legislative council polls from South Graduates Constituency, the doctor on Friday claimed he was falsely implicated in the case related to diversion of funds.
Ravindra said in 2008, charges of diverting the salary of woman health officers in Belagodu was levelled against him.

"But agencies that conducted separate inquiries found that second division clerk S R Ramesh in the health department had forged documents and has misused the salary amount. I was proved not guilty in the case," he said.
Ravindra said he met chief minister Siddaramaiah at his residence in Mysuru and has submitted all the documents pertaining to the inquiry conducted on him.
"I am also meeting KPCC president G Parameshwar and other senior party leaders to discuss the issue," he said.
He said his father N Narashime Gowda was former Zilla Panchayat member from Pandavapura taluk in Mandya district from Congress.
"There will always be dissatisfaction among candidates for failing to get ticket. But I hope that all leaders will support me in the election," he said.
