A test for the cricketers of Sunrisers Hyderabad

May 02, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - HYDERABAD:

For the select contestants of the Kingfisher Bowl-out Season 5 at the Inorbit Mall, it was an unforgettable Sunday when they tried to showcase their bowling skills by having a go at some of the members of the Indian Premiere League (IPL) team Sunrisers Hyderabad, including Ben Cutting, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Reddy and Barinder Sran.

In the interactive session, fans clearly enjoyed playing with the stars far away from the scorching heat. The cricketers too loved the contest and tried to present their batting skills to the players.

The 25 participants were selected through contests which took place through an on ground promotion activation.

Three lucky wildcard entrants at the venue also took place in the competition. Each one of them was made to bowl three deliveries to the cricketers.

For the big crowd which turned up at the venue too, it was entertaining seeing the other side of the SRH stars, who are otherwise donning the flannels in the high-profile IPL.

“It is always great to be closer to the fans as you tend to get the real feel of what they mean to us. We look forward to continued support to our team in the ongoing IPL campaign and wish more and more turn up at the Uppal Stadium for the next two games also,” Mr. Bhuvneshwar Kumar said.
