The home side have managed to defend a big total and they have done in a stupendous manner against a star-studded batting line-up. Chasing 195, Bangalore got off to a slow but a good start. The master of run chases, Virat Kohli failed tonight but KL Rahul continued his form from the last game. He scored a fifty as well but departed soon after that.

AB de Villiers then hung around for a while after getting two lives early on. Just when he was starting to up the ante, Sran came to the party and showed him the way to pavilion. Watson couldn't do much with the bat but Sachin Baby and Jadhav had fun in the middle. However, never for a second it seemed they will take their team over the line and in the end it was Hyderabad who registered a comprehensive win tonight to go 4th on the points table.

00.37 IST: That's it! Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 15 runs at home.

00.28 IST: 10 runs off Nehra's over and RCB are 162/5 in 18 overs.

00.21 IST: OUT! It's falling apart for RCB now! Sachin Baby departs for 27! RCB 152/5 in 17.1 overs Baby holes out! A low full toss around off, Baby pulls it high in the air and straight down the ground. He doesn't time it well and hands a simple catch to Dhawan at long on. A good innings for him but Bangalore sink deeper. 43 still needed of 17 deliveries

00.16 IST: RCB need 53 off 24 balls and Sunrisers are now at a very good position.

00.08 IST: OUT! AB de Villiers holes out to Williamson for 47. Big jolt for the visitors! RCB 129/4 in 14.4 overs

23.50 IST: OUT! Watson is run out for 2! Huge blow for RCB! RCB 90/3 in 11.2 overs Full and on the pads, Watson flicks it off his pads towards backward square leg and sets off for a single. He was hungry for another one immediately and Sran fires a throw towards the striker's end, it hits and they refer it upstairs. After having a look from various angles, the third umpire decides that Watson's bat was on the line when the bails flashed. A correct decision is made and Watson walks back with a forlorn face. 106 needed from 52 balls!

23.43 IST: OUT! Edged and gone! Henriques provides a breakthrough! On a good length and slower in pace. Rahul waits for it and then decides to run it down to third man. In the process he gets a faint edge back to the keeper. A lovely innings comes to an end! RCB 83/2 in 10 overs

Three runs and a wicket of Mustafizur's first over. Brilliant stuff!

AB de Villiers is the new man in.

22.55 IST: KL Rahul and Virat Kohli to open the innings for RCB. SRH hand the new ball duties to veteran bowler Ashish Nehra.

RCB should have the mental advantage of not chasing a 200-plus total. Thanks to Watson. It was Warner's show all the way at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. After losing Dhawan early, Warner took off and never looked back. He stitched a 134-run stand with New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson. The RCB bowlers had no answers to Warner-Williamson duo. RCB fought back with quick strikes in the end over. However, a cameo from Moises Henrqiues in the end made sure Warner's effort was not wasted.

RCB have the firepower to chase the total down. On the other hand, SRH have in-form pacers in their ranks. This must be an interesting chase.

22.43 IST: Top over from Watson. Four runs and a wicket off the over. SRH finish with 194/5 on board.

Watson has been brilliant this over conceding only three runs in his first five balls.

22.37 IST: OUT! Deepak Hooda gets run out in an ambitious attempt to sneak an extra run. SRH 190/5 in 19.1 overs.

22.14 IST: OUT! A fine innings from Williamson comes to an end! He goes for 50. SRH 161/3 in 17 overs

22.15 IST: OUT! That's the end of Warner! He goes for 92! What a knock he has played. Misses out on his third IPL century by 8 runs. RCB can breathe easy now! SRH 153/2 in 16 overs

22.11 IST: It's complete mayhem from Davey Warner! He is giving the RCB bowlers a hard time. Warner also goes past Virat Kohli as the leading run-scorer in this season. SRH 141/1 in 15 overs

22.01 IST: Tough luck continues for Varun Aaron. This time it is Kane Williamson who took him to the cleaners. SRH 109/1 in 13 overs

21.57 IST: Warner is on full swing! The Aussie is not giving any opportunities to the opposition bowlers. This time his fellow Aussie, Shane Watson, is taken to the cleaners. SRH 98/1 in 12 overs

21.45 IST: FOUR! That's fifty for David Warner off just 31 balls. Wonderful innings from the captain. Rasool gave him a little bit of room and Warner sent it through covers. SRH 78/1 in 9.1 overs

21.43 IST: Warner capitalises on Varun Aaron's second over. Hits him for two consecutive boundaries to inch closer to another fifty. SRH 74/1 in 9 overs

21.40 IST: Parvez Rasool bowls a tidy over - just 6 runs off it. SRH 63/1 in 8 overs

21.23 IST: Good over from Varun Aaron - gives away just 5 runs. SRH 33/1 in 5 overs

21.16 IST: OUT! Caught & Bowled! Kane Richardson strikes and Dhawan walks back! Good length delivery on middle, Dhawan gets forward and is a bit early in the shot. He ends up playing it straight back to the bowler who takes a simple catch in his followthrough. An early breakthrough for Bangalore then! SRH 28/1 in 4 overs

21.13 IST: RCB brought in spin early with Rasool. He gave away 7 runs. SRH 21/0 in 3 overs

21.10 IST: Four! Driven down the ground! Full length delivery on middle from Watson, Dhawan gets forward and bunts it down the ground bisecting mid on and mid off for a boundary. SRH 14/0 in 2 overs

21.03 IST: A tidy over from Richardson to start with - 6 runs off it. SRH 6/0 in 1 over

21.00 IST: Here we go! Warner and Dhawan are out in the middle to open for Hyderabad. Kane RIchardson open for RCB.

Virat Kohli: We are going to have a bowl first. Looks like a pretty fresh wicket. They are playing four seamers. We have got four quicks as well. Just want to make use of it. Yeah we wanted to bowl. Taking the opportunity to bowl first. Just relaxed in the break. Had a couple of days off. Boys are ready to have a go. Just wanna execute our plans with the ball, that's where we lack. We have got three changes. Varun Aaron in for Binny, Harshal Patel for Chahal. Sachin Baby for Sarfaraz Khan.

20.30 IST: Toss! Royal Challengers Bangalore opt to bowl against Sunrisers Hyderabad. No Chris Gayle today for RCB and Kane Williamson plays for SRH.

20.13 IST: Good news, friends! Seems that the rain has stopped. We can have the toss in a few minutes time.

Preview: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) would look to bounce back against a struggling Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) after losing against Rising Pune Supergiants in their last match.

RCB have won just two out of their five games in the league so far while the Sunrisers have pocketed three out their six outings. But the last time these two had met in Bengaluru, RCB came out on top.

Sunrisers then lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but rallied back in style to grab crucial wins against Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Lions and Kings XI Punjab.

However, their winning momentum was halted by Pune where Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men defeated SRH by 34 runs via Duckworth-Lewis method in a rain-affected contest.

The batting failed miserably in the game as Hyderabad were restricted to 118 for 8. This time however, the likes of David Warner, Eoin Morgan need to fire if the hosts are to challenge the mighty Bengaluru batting.

The franchise also have the option of playing New Zealanders Kane Williamson and Trent Boult, who can be match-winners on their day.

The home side have a useful bowling line up with the likes of Ashish Nehra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, latest sensation Mustafizur Rahman and allrounder Moises Henriques who would try and stop Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers - the duo who have scored runs for fun so far in the competition.

Allrounder Shane Watson has been in good form of late and Sarfraz Khan has also contributed on a number of occasions for the visitors. But RCB's cause of concern will be their bowling which has failed to deliver the goods. The likes of Yuzvendra Chahal, Kane Richardson and Iqbal Abdulla need to pull up their socks if they are to progress in the tournament.
