Cheating case against numerologist

The Husnabad police have registered a cheating case against numerologist Kiran Nehru for cheating a villager with a promise of becoming rich by changing a letter in the name.

Husnabad CI Dasari Bhoomaiah said that victim Peddi Ravinder of Kesavapur village the victim approached numerologist Nehru after watching his TV shows when he was camping in Hanamkonda and paid Rs. 3,200 for filling up a form about his lucky date, numbers, colours etc. He was then asked to change his name as Rawinder by replacing the letter 'v' and was asked to write his name 47 times for 47 days to become rich. When the situation did not change, he again approached the numerologist, who then gave him two gem stones after collecting Rs. 32,000 each. However, there was no change and instead he incurred in huge debts and was suffering from health problems. He approached the police and lodge a complaint. A cheating was registered the CI said.
