Nagpur: For the first time ever ICSE results will be declared in the first week of May itself, thanks to the use of technology. Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced that results of both Std X and Std XII will be declared on May 6, at 3PM.
ICSE is actually the name of certificate issued for STD X, but over the years it has become the unofficial name of the board.

Gerry Arathoon, chief executive and secretary of the board said "This year results are going to be declared two weeks earlier than when they used to be in the previous years. The hard work and unflinching commitment of the council (board) staff along with our decision to go with the new Live Ink Character Recognition (LICR) technology has helped us to be in this position."
LICR captures and digitizes marks entered on top of answer sheets and instantly encrypts and transfers the data. It is stored directly in the board’s cloud based servers immediately from the evaluation centres. This has significantly reduced the time required for compilation of results. The software automatically totals the marks awarded by examiners.
Results will be available through the board's website and SMS.
How to check the results:
*Through SMS: Type, ICSE and send the message to 09248082883
*Online: log on to www.cisce.org to check results
