SSK Bank to start ATM, online payment

Hubballi: After getting IFSC code by the Reserve Bank of India to provide RTGS facility, SSK Cooperative Bank Ltd on Thursday announced that it will start ATM, online payment and e-stamping facilities within a month.
Informing this on Thursday, its president N N Khode told reporters here on Thursday that the bank recorded a net profit of Rs 1.02 crore in the financial year 2015-16.Khode said the bank has been earning good profit since three years with the support of board of directors, staff and shareholders.
He put the bank's turnover in the previous fiscal at Rs 176.66 crore
Khode said that the bank has 2.63 crore share capital by 12,289 members and Rs 11.48 crore deposits. He said that the bank had given 5% dividend in 2014-15 by Rs 99.36 lakh profit and wants to increase the amount this year.
"But the Reserve Bank can't accept our recommendations to provide financial facility to members," he said.
Directors Vittal Ladva, Premanath Chouvhan, Ratnamala Baddi, Suresh Bhandage, Kashinath Valvekar and manager Sunil were present in the press conference.
