Meteoric rise for a northern German schoolgirl: first Jamie-Lee Krewitz won the TV talent show “The Voice of Germany,” then the German preliminaries for the Eurovision Song Contest. Now her debut album is out.

In December 2015, 17-year-old Jamie-Lee Kriewitz won the TV talent show "The Voice of Germany“. Ever since, things have moved fast for the schoolgirl from Lower Saxony with a soft spot for flashy manga outfits. She easily won the competition to become Germany’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest and is releasing her debut album “Berlin,” on April 29.
