Panjab University (PU) assistant professor of pharmacology Dr Anurag Kuhad has been selected for "UGC Research Award" for 2016-18 by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.
Chandigarh: Panjab University (PU) assistant professor of pharmacology Dr Anurag Kuhad has been selected for "UGC Research Award" for 2016-18 by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. UGC will reimburse full salary of Dr Kuhad to PU along with admissible allowances. In addition to full salary, a research grant of Rs 3 lakh would be provided for chemicals, equipment, books and journals.The award is for a period of two years. The purpose of the research award is to identify young talented teachers, who have established competence in their area of specialization.
