Ten titles handed out in Arabic and English at four Dubai Metro stations

In accordance with the initiative launched by The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to make 2016 the 'Year of Reading' in this UAE, representatives from the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center (HHC) distributed complimentary books at four Dubai Metro stations to mark the World Book Day.

World Book Day is an annual event organised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) to promote reading, along with publishing and copyright. It is held every year on April 23 and was first celebrated in 1995.
