HC orders DGP to probe into sexual assaults by teacher

Shimla, Apr 29 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh High Court today asked the state Director General of Police to probe the sexual assaults on a minor student by the school teacher, which led to pregnancy.
Hearing the petition filed before the court, the Division bench of Justices Rajiv Sharma and Vivek Singh passed these orders as a 14-15 years-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted by one of the Trained Graduate Teachers during the school hours FIR was lodged in police station Dadahu under Sirmaur district on April 1.
Talking to UNI, Sanjeev Bhushan, counsel for the petitioner, said the court ordered that the investigation be supervised by the Director General of Police of Himachal Pradesh personally.
