Neubiberg/Munich, April 29, 2016 - CHORUS Clean Energy AG, a specialized operator of solar and wind parks, headquartered in Neubiberg near Munich, connected its Amöneburg wind park in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district of Hesse to the grid already in April 2016.

Neubiberg/Munich, April 29, 2016 - CHORUS Clean Energy AG ('CHORUS'), a specialized operator of solar and wind parks, headquartered in Neubiberg near Munich, connected its Amöneburg wind park in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district of Hesse to the grid already in April 2016.

The wind park has a total capacity of 12.65 megawatts (MW) and consists of five GE 2.5-120 turbines from the proven manufacturer General Electric - one of the leading providers of electricity generation and supply technologies. The turbines each have a nominal capacity of 2.53 MW and a hub height of 139 meters.

Since the start of operations, the wind park benefits from a guaranteed feed-in tariff of roughly 88 Euros per megawatt-hour, which is assured for a period of 20 years. The experts at CHORUS await the wind park to produce more than 35,000 megawatt-hours of clean energy for every full year of operation.
