The first 12-car rake was driven by Motorman A M Bhimshekhar and its Guard was Arvind Kumar. In the history of Harbour line, the first EMU train service was introduced on February three, 1925, with four cars leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (then Victoria Terminus) to Kurla.
