Two days ‘Samanvaya’ held at Vadodara-based university
VADODARA: The Faculty of Social Work of city-based Parul University had recently organized ‘Samanvaya- joining hands for better tomorrow’ on the theme of individual social responsibility.
The two days event began with various competitive and participatory events themed on social issues including poster making, rangoli, short film making and debate as well as poetry, origami and best out of waste.

And exhibition wherein students exhibited various posters, working models, business models, charts, field work activities and presentations was also held.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr Geetika Madan Patel, medical director of Parul Sevashram and member of board of governance of PU and PU’s provost Dr Ketan Kotecha.
The inaugural session witnessed the launch of website ‘Samanvaya’- an attempt to bring all the stakeholders of social work on a single platform along with book release- ‘Reflections’ an reflection of departmental activities of social work.
“The event aimed to have a common dialogue between all the stake holders of the social work and synergize the energies in the direction towards enhancement of social functioning of the different communities and build a common consensus that can be channelize in the coming times towards building a better society,” a release issued by PU said.
