Shilpa will not attend close friend Bipasha's wedding

Shilpa Shetty Kundra attended Bipasha Basu's pink-themed sangeet ceremony, along with hubby Karan and sister Shamita on Friday afternoon. A close friend of Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover, the actress was also going to be present at their wedding, which is taking place on Saturday in Mumbai.

Unfortunately, we hear that Shilpa is going to give the gala affair a skip, because she has to fly to Nairobi, Kenya, for a fundraiser. Though disappointed that she is going to miss being with Bipasha on her special day, Shilpa has no choice but to go ahead with her work commitment.

According to news reports, she is looking forward to the charity event, the proceeds of which are going to be donated to an NGO that supports cancer patients. Sources suggest that Shilpa is going to be performing live on stage after almost seven years and so she is very excited. She will be dancing to a medley of her chartbuster film songs.
