Tottenham's Mousa Dembele vows team will only 'get stronger'

Mousa Dembele has predicted a bright future for Tottenham Hotspur and says Mauricio Pochettino's team can "only do better" next season.

Spurs have scored the most goals and conceded the fewest in the Premier League this season, despite having the youngest squad.

Next term will see the arrival of Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and Antonio Conte at Chelsea, while Manchester United are also expected to replace head coach Louis van Gaal -- with Jose Mourinho a candidate -- and Liverpool are likely to continuing their improvement under Jurgen Klopp.

Dembele concedes that the top teams will improve next season but believes second-place Spurs will also get better.

"Everybody can feel like we're making this step [forward]. We're playing well as a team and we can only do better next year," Dembele told Sky Sports.

"Next year, the top teams will be stronger but I think we will be stronger as well. You can see the vibe -- there's a positive future for us."

The Belgian, however, refused to give up on winning the title this season, despite Spurs trailing league leaders Leicester by seven points with three matches remaining, following Monday's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane.

"We have to believe in it still," Demebele told Sky Sports. "It's not going to be easy and we're in a different scenario now than we were [before Monday night] to be honest.

"Last week was very disappointing and in the end we need to win the three games we have left. We don't have it in our own hands so it's a bit different."
