'Chaudhary had tried many businesses'

Chandigarh: Ram Chaudhary, 35, whose body was found in a car in Neelo Kheri on Thursday, hailed from Una in Himachal Pradesh and worked as a bouncer in Chandigarh.
According to his friends in the city, Chaudhary had also tried his hand at many businesses, including an eatery that he had opened in Sector 22. They said he had been living in Chandigarh for the past 20 years and was planning to open a showroom in Ludhiana with the help of some of his partners.
Sources said Ram also worked as a gym instructor for some time and then started a body supplement store in Sector 22, besides the eatery.
Amit Sharma, a bouncer who lives in Manimajra, said, "Ram and I entered the profession almost at the same time. He ran a number of businesses, but he said he would join the security business only if the package was high."
He was also accused of occupying a disputed house in Sector 22 along with his bouncer friend, Sahil Thakur, who was found dead in the house due to drug overdose in 2011.
