Jets wide receiver Eric Decker bought a work of art by a homeless veteran, Stacey Williams, at a charity event in Soho.
Decker picked up the painting (of an Afro-wearing woman peacefully sleeping) after his wife, singer Jessie James, pointed it out.
He told us, “Its a beautiful piece, but my wife makes the decisions about art. I am looking forward to the NFL draft.”
The couple was at an event hosted by online mattress company Leesa Sleep and ArtLifting, an online art marketplace for homeless and disabled artists.
The event was at the Leesa Dream Gallery in Soho.
