World Dance Day celebrations will be held at MES Commerce College hall here at 4 p.m. on Friday under the auspices of Samruddhi Performing Art Academy, Bengaluru, in collaboration with Medini Ranga Adhyayana Kendra, Sirsi.
State Marketing Communication Ltd. president L.N. Murthy will inaugurate the programme. Karnataka Lalitakala Academy president M.S. Murthy, S. Srinivas of Children Welfare Samithi, dancer Hema Govindraju and MES president G.M. Hegde Mulkhand will be the chief guests.
Rohini Immarati of Ganesh Nratya Shale (Dharwad), Sahana Pradeep of Natyanjali (Hubballi), Channapatna Kalpashri Art Centre team and Muralidhar Sangeet Nrutya Vidyalaya team (Bhadravati), Ragini Sangeet Nratya team (Bengaluru), Pushpa Art Centre team (Shivamogga), Samskara Sakara Nrutya Bharati team (Dandeli), Natya Taranga Trust team (Sagar) and Nupur Nrutya Shale team (Sirsi) will be among the performers.
