Two charred to death in Aurangabad

Aurangabad: Two minor girls were charred to death and 13 houses gutted at village Ghejna under Goh block of the district on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Sapna Kumari (10) and Lilawati Kumari (10).
An eye witness said the fire broke out in the house of one Rambilas Paswan and engulfed at least 13 houses around 5pm. Lilawati was sleeping at her friend Sapna‘s home when the incident occurred.
Aurangabad DM Kawal Tanuj, superintendent of police Babu Ram and Goh MLA Manoj Sharma rushed to the spot. The DM told this correspondent that Rs4 lakh compensation would be provided to the next of kin of the deceased. Clothes and others needy items were provided to the victims, he said and added that relief operation was going on.
“We are leaving no stone unturned to provide maximum relief to the families of the deceased,” the DM said.
