RBI Governor in Bhopal

Bhopal: RBI Governor, Raghuram Rajan, reached Bhopal on Thursday for two-day visit. On the first day he took meetings with the rural banks of Madhya Pradesh.
Born in Bhopal, Rajan met with the representatives of three rural banks at the zonal office of Central Bank of India. These banks were MP Rural bank, Narmada Jhabua Rural bank and Madhyanchal rural bank.Besides, he took meetings with the official of RBI, Bhopal office.
Later, in the evening, he attended a private function at RBI Colony. Sources said that he is likely to meet state government officials on Friday. Sources added that he is also likely to meet officials of BHEL and also visit Sanchi.
