TV production and formats giant, Endemol Shine is set as a co-producer on Indian feature movie “Te3n.” It will also soon begin its first film in China.

“Te3n” stars three of the country’s top dramatic actors. Veteran superstar Amitabh Bachchan (“Piku”) stars as a man seeking justice for the death of his granddaughter. Nawazuddin Siddiqui (seen next in Cannes Directors’ Fortnight 2016 selection “Raman Raghav 2.0”) portrays a priest whose life is affected by the same crime. Vidya Balan (“The Dirty Picture”) plays a cop who swings into action when an identical crime is committed eight years later.

“Te3n,” now in post-production ahead of a June 10 worldwide release, is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta (“Michael”) with creative producer Sujoy Ghosh (“Kahaani”.) The film is a co-production between Endemol, Reliance Entertainment, Cinemaa, Kross Pictures and Blue Waters Motion Pictures.

Endemol’s debut Indian feature “Traffic”, a co-production with Fox Star Studios, directed by Rajesh Pillai and starring Manoj Bajpayee (“Aligarh”) and Prasenjit Chatterjee (“Shanghai”,) is due to release on May 6. The film, which tells multiple stories that collide and become entangled through a traffic accident, is a remake of a 2011 Malayalam-language hit of the same title.
