Cops nab thief, seize jewellery

Vadodara: The police arrested Shabbir Pathan from the Diary Den circle in Sayajigunj on Wednesday.
The cops had received a tip-off that Pathan would pass on a motorbike from the area following which they kept a watch.
The police frisked Pathan and found a gold jewellery from him. When asked about the jewellery worth Rs 88,000, he could not produce the bill.
The police said that Pathan admitted to have stolen the jewellery three days ago from a car parked in Pratapgunj. Pathan was found with a gold chain weighing around four grams and a pair of gold earrings.
