A 26-year-old woman killed her two children before hanging herself in her house in Ijur in Ramanagar on Wednesday.
The deceased have been identified as Rekha, Spoorthi (6) and Pritham (4). Rekha was from Magadi. She was married to Lakshman, a wall painter, seven years ago. The couple had moved into a rented house in Manjunath Nagar two months ago.
The deaths came to light when neighbours went to check on the family. They found Rekha and her children hanging from the ceiling of the house.The Ramanagar police found a note stating that no one is responsible for her taking the extreme step. Rekha mentioned that her husband suspected her of infidelity. She added that she decided to end her life and that of her children as no one was listening to her woes.
