Saudi Arabia deports IM's supplier of explosives
MUMBAI: Saudi Arabia on Tuesday deported Indian Mujahideen (IM) operative Zainul Abedin, who played a key role in supplying explosives for various blasts across India. Abedin was arrested in Saudi Arabia in August last year said a source.
The police said Abedin is not alone as Saudi Arabian authorities have deported more than half a dozen terror suspects, including 26/11 accused Zaibuddin Ansari, Faish Mahmood and Abdul Sattar, holed up in their land.

Abdedin was detained in Saudi Arabia after his name cropped up during probes and the subsequent arrest of his associates from Karnataka in January 2015. The ATS, which was looking for him in connection with the July 2011 blasts, had issued a red-corner notice against him. Officials said while the conspiracy to carry out the blasts was hatched by Yasin Bhatkal and Riyaz Bhatkal, Abedin supplied RDX for almost all of them.
