Gurgaon, April 27
Aggrieved parents have now turned to khap panchayats for help to check fee hike by private schools.
Ramphal Sheoran, secretary, Haryana Abhivavak Ekta Manch, said, “We will approach khaps to mount pressure on the government to order audit of school accounts to determine whether or not fee hike is justified. He said commercialisation of education can’t be allowed.”
The manch have been demanding state intervention against “unjustified” fee hike and denial of admission under the EWS quota.—TNS
