No Sooraj, no Tiger, Athiya will share KJo's couch only with Varun, Sid

An invitation to sip coffee with Karan on one of television’s most popular chat shows marks a big moment for a Bollywood debutante one would imagine, but Athiya Shetty is not one to lap up everything that crosses her path.

The actress turned down the offer to sit across Karan Johar on the upcoming season of Koffee with Karan because she didn’t approve of the guests who would share his famous couch with her.

First, her Hero co-star Sooraj Pancholi was extended an invitation by the show’s team to accompany Athiya and then it was Tiger Shroff, who was pitched to be the accompanying guest — both of whom the actress turned down.

But it wasn’t a clear no — Athiya said that she’d gladly be part of the show if she were to share the couch with either Varun Dhawan or Sidharth Malhotra.
Says a source, “She would much rather appear with Varun or Sidharth on the show than Tiger or Sooraj.They are bigger stars. Apart from the two, she wouldn’t mind being accompanied by her father Suniel Shetty as well.”
Interestingly, Tiger is gearing up for Baaghi and Sooraj is working on a comedy film with his parents, while Athiya is yet to announce her next.
