12-car services on CST-Panvel corridor from April 29

CR's divisional railway manager (Mumbai CST), Amitabh Ojha said, "From April 29, one 12-car rake will be introduced to run 14 services on the CST-Panvel corridor."

Mumbai: Harbour line is all set to get 12-car services from April 29, 30 years after such longer rakes were first introduced on CR and WR in 1986.
Harbour line has 590 services, which operates on CST-Panvel, CST-Andheri and Panvel-Andheri stretch. It runs these services with a total of 36 rakes.
CR's divisional railway manager (Mumbai CST), Amitabh Ojha said, "From April 29, one 12-car rake will be introduced to run 14 services on the CST-Panvel corridor."
He said that it will be trial run of sorts for us to plan the time-table.
