An exclusive Tuesday matinee of Wit with specially priced seating has been planned for Tuesday, May 3 at 2pm.
Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize winning play examines what makes life worth living through the exploration of one of existence's unifying experiences-mortality.
Audience members will be moved to rethink the vital importance of human relationships and kindness. "'Wit' is, above all, about how people express, repress and analyze their emotions, especially when dealing with the unwanted, unexpected or overwhelming emotions," says Chris Arnott of The Hartford Courant. He continues to describe the Playhouse's production as: "Witty, tasteful and tearfully real."
