Prasad Sutar who has given VFX effects for a few Marathi films, has won an award for Bajirao Mastani in Best Visual Effects category recently.
This VFX superviser for the visually startling film 'Bajirao Mastani' did its magic which competed against the films like 'Attack on Titan', 'The Great Tiger', 'Bahubali: The Beginning' and 'Monster Hunt' at the awards.
After the win he says, ���Almost all the scenes of the film had a VFX component and each sequence demanded an essence of history, romance and culture.
So, right from desigining the seqences, creating the backgrounds, extending the sets, executing the battle sequences multiplication of the crowd, & setting the climax to take the story to its conclusion, the team went on to create the visuals to suit the era of history and traditional relevance of culture.���
The veteran VFX supervisor, Prasad Sutar, who has supervised over 125 hindi feature films for the last 15 years is known for his visual effects work in films like 'Ghulam', 'Rock On', 'Fashion', 'Rajneeti', 'Once upon a time in Mumbai', 'Agneepath', 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and 'Tamasha'. Prasad is also willing to create good visual effects for Marathi films in future.
