IPL: SC upholds HC order to shift fixtures out of drought-hit Mah

New Delhi, Apr 27 (UNI) The Supreme Court today dismissed pleas filed by the Maharashtra and Mumbai Cricket Associations against a Bombay High Court order which had directed shifting of some of this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) matches outside the drought-hit state.
The Bombay High Court on April 13 in its order directed shifting of all IPL matches in the drought-hit Maharashtra to another state after April 30.
Mumbai is one among the 11 drought-hit states which are facing a severe water crisis.
