JLR unveils exclusive Jaguar for China

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), which makes the Range Rover Evoque and the Land Rover Discovery Sport in Halewood, has unveiled a new model to be developed exclusively for Chinese customers.

The Jaguar XFL is the third vehicle to be produced by the car giant in China and the first ever Jaguar model. It was revealed at the Beijing Auto Show.

It will be made at the Chery Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing facility in Changshu with sales set to begin in the second half of the year.

JLR chief executive Dr Ralf Speth said:  "China continues to be an important market for Jaguar Land Rover. 

"At Jaguar Land Rover, we put our customers first and are committed to delivering experiences that they love for life.

"Designed exclusively for our discerning Chinese customers, the Jaguar XFL is bespoke to this market."
