Minors 4.26.16: Sizzling Amed Rosario leads St. Lucie to win

LAS VEGAS 7, ALBUQUERQUE 2: Gabriel Ynoa recorded his first Triple-A victory. He allowed two runs on five hits and two walks in 6 2/3 innings. Ynoa struck out three in a 91-pitch effort. T.J. Rivera finished 3-for-4 with a double, solo homer and three runs. Ty Kelly went 3-for-3 with a walk and two RBIs. Box

BINGHAMTON 3, PORTLAND 2: Dominic Smith produced a tiebreaking RBI single that plated Kyle Johnson in the eighth. Reliever Akeel Morris, who received a 2015 National League championship ring before the game, retired all five batters he faced to earn his first Double-A win. Bryce Brentz's two-run double against Andrew Barbosa in the sixth had staked Portland to a 2-1 lead. The B-Mets pulled even in the bottom half. Johnson was hit by a pitch and stole second. Maikis De La Cruz then hit a trickler up the first-base line, which catcher Jake Romanski fielded and threw to first. With nobody covering the plate, Johnson rounded third and took off. He scored with no throw. Barbosa logged 7 1/3 innings -- the longest outing by a B-Mets starter this season. He struck out a season-high 10. Morris (1-1) struck out three, including two in the ninth, to earn his first victory since July 1, 2014. Smith finished 2-for-4 and extended his hitting streak to six games. ST. LUCIE 10, CHARLOTTE 5: Amed Rosario went 3-for-5 and drove in four runs. He smashed a two-run homer in the seventh to give the Mets a 5-4 lead. It was Rosario’s third long ball of the season and second in three games. Rosario added a two-run triple in the eighth to put the Mets ahead by four runs. Rosario has two four-RBI performances in the last three games. He was seeking a double for the cycle, but was stranded on deck in the ninth. Starter Josh Prevost allowed four runs in the fourth but earned the win in a six-inning outing. Tomas Nido produced two doubles. Wuilmer Becerra added an RBI double in the ninth to give the Mets their largest scoring output of the season. John Mora ripped an RBI triple in the second inning. Champ Stuart went 2-for-5.
