Bihar: Washrooms in all police stations for women cops

There are around 850 police stations in the state and to hasten the work, as the new recruits will be given postings only after the washrooms are constructed, all police stations in-charge have been asked to give details of their bank accounts to the state Home Department. “If some police stations are operating from rented houses, police station heads should tell the houseowners that additional rent would be paid (to meet the cost of constructing the washrooms),” Principal Secretary, Home, Amir Subhani, said.
