Hyderabad: Banjara Hills police registered a case against Tollywood director Teja and two others for threatening a businessman with dire consequences.
The complainant is, RV Krishna Rao, a timber businessman from Road No. 9 in Film Nagar. According to police, Rao and Teja have a dispute about the ownership of a house in the city and the case is currently in the court.
In the second week of April, Rao lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police alleging that Teja had threatened him over phone.
Rao further alleged that a few days prior to Teja's threat call, the latter's associate, Vicky, had warned him to compromise with Teja or else face dire consequences from Teja's associates. tnn
