Blind girls from Ahmedabad enjoy outing in Mumbai

55 blind girls from Ahmedabad flew to Mumbai for a two-day outing on Monday. They met actor Varun Dhawan and the team of TV serial 'Taarak Mehta' before having the time of their lives at Esselworld amusement park.

MUMBAI: 55 blind girls from Ahmedabad flew to Mumbai for a two-day outing on Monday. They met actor Varun Dhawan and the team of TV serial 'Taarak Mehta' before having the time of their lives at Esselworld amusement park.
An NGO called Blind Dreams helmed by ayurvedic doctor Samir Mansuri led the initiative. The doctor himself was born sightless.
The girls were happy to arrive by air Monday.
ISKCON temple has provided accommodation at its premises in Juhu at nominal rates. On Tuesday the girls and their caretakers visited Esselworld to fulfil their second wish.
Mansuri said he was happy to bring joy and colour in their lives. "Many people are there to support their education and food but I am trying to help them realise their dreams."
