‘DWTS’: Doug Flutie Receives Support From NFL Stars After Elimination

The night ended with lots of emotion and a boisterous crowd.
“We got that just about every week and it was just so heartwarming and it puts me at ease and a little more relaxed – I know I’m a nervous wreck going out there,” Flutie said on “GMA” this morning. “It was really nice. The crowd was always fun.”
Flutie even got shout-outs on social media from his NFL buddies Bill Belichick and Tom Brady after the elimination.
“It was really cool how Tom and Bill jumped on board,” Flutie said. “Bill doesn’t do that stuff. Tom occasionally might make an appearance, but not often…it was nice.”
The double elimination on “DWTS” airs Monday night, 8/7 CT.
