Becker's Healthcare Names 50 Experts Leading the Field of Patient Safety

Becker's Healthcare is pleased to release the 2016 edition of its "50 Experts Leading the Field of Patient Safety" list, featuring clinicians, advocates and legislators who work tirelessly to eliminate medical errors and improve safety in the industry.

The men and women on this list have contributed to improving patient safety in different ways — some lead influential government agencies or organizations focused on the issue, some edit prominent journals or write extensively on the topic, and others champion successful safety initiatives at their hospitals or health systems.

Becker's Healthcare has published a version of this list annually since 2013. Experts were selected for this year's list based on editorial research and discretion. Nominations were also considered when making selections for this list.
