Poll: Media Provide Biased Coverage of Migrants' Crimes
PARIS (Sputnik Press-Office) —  This data is derived from a survey conducted by the renowned French research company Ifop and commissioned by the Sputnik information agency and radio.

On the whole, those polled showed a high awareness of the issue, with only 8% of respondents unable to answer the question. Just 28% of the French respondents believe that the presence of a large number of migrants in the country has not been a factor in the rise in criminality.

The Sputnik.Polls survey was conducted among 1,499 respondents by Ifop, France's largest research company, on February 3-5, 2016. The sample is representative of the country's population in terms of sex, age and location.
