Coaches have been added to several trains to cater to the extra rush during the summer.
One each 2 AC and 3 AC coaches was added to Train No 12284 Hazrath Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto Express on April 23 and this service will continue till June 25. The pairing train (12283), Ernakulam-Hazrath Nizamuddin Duronto Express will get the extra coaches for services between April 26 and June 28.
One 3-AC coach was added to Train No 12484 Amritsar-Kochuveli Express on April 24 and this will continue till June 26, the pairing train (12483) Kochuveli-Amritsar Express will get the extra coaches between April 27 and June 29, according to a release from Konkan Railway Corporation.
Meanwhile, Train No 10215/216 Madgaon-Ernakulam-Madgaon Express too will be temporarily augmented with one more 3-AC coach, the release added.
