Sudhakar S. Shetty, chairman, District Coordination Committee, FKCCI, called upon farmers to be strong-minded and never lose hope irrespective of the debts they have. He said suicide is not a solution for their financial difficulties.

Delivering the keynote address at the Raitha Sanjiveeni programme here on Sunday, Mr. Shetty said FKCCI is planning to organise a farmers meet at the hobli level to instil confidence in them. It is in the consultation with psychologists in this regard.

Mayor Bhyrappa appealed to the association to help farmers by providing agricultural implements at a reasonable cost and on an instalment basis.
