Dharmasthala to host mass marriage event on Friday

Mangaluru: The 45th annual free mass marriage organised by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala will be held at Dharmasthala during gou dhuli lagna on Friday.
In all, 125 couples have registered their names to enter into wedlock. Till 2015, a total of 11,800 couples have benefitted from this arrangement made at the Kshetra, said D Veerendra Heggade, dharmadhikari, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala.Manohar Tahshildar, minister for religious endowment, former cricketer Brijesh Patel, Belthangady MLA K Vasanth Bangera, Adithya Sarogi from Birla Corporation and Sandesh Menon from Bengaluru will be the chief guests and bless the newlyweds. tnn
