Well aren't these Britney Spears fans lucky.
Nick and Courtney shared their first date at a Britney Spears concert nine years ago, so it was only fitting that Spears herself helped the pair get engaged.
Nick popped the question on April 13 at a pre-show meet and greet at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. He planned out the surprise proposal with Spears' team.
"Britney smiled and winked at me and I got down on one knee and said: 'So, I’m asking you in front of our friend, Britney, here, will you be my wife forever?'" Nick told Britney-Galaxy.com.
"[Courtney] stuck her hand out but kept looking at Britney, then back at the ring, Britney, then the ring," Nick said. "Finally, I asked again: 'So what do you think? Want me to put it on you or what?' and that’s when Britney laughed really hard out loud, as did we all. [Courtney] said 'yes' and I placed it on her finger as everyone cheered us on."
In order to coordinate the proposal, Nick called "every contact I had to try and reach Britney’s camp and, sure enough, the last one worked." But it was a challenge to even get Courtney to Planet Hollywood; Nick told her they would be working as dessert tasters at a conference.
"It wasn't until after we were ushered past security and partway through the Axis theater that she realized something was up," Nick told The Huffington Post.
The couple plans to marry next June in a small ceremony in Las Vegas. We're guessing Britney Spears will be on their must-play list.
