Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Apr 25 2016 10:55PM Journalists stage demonstration in KolhapurKolhapur, Apr 25 (UNI) The journalists from city today staged a demonstration in front of district information office (DIO) at Kasba Bavda area of the city today for their demands including to start pension scheme and to make a new law for their protection in the state. About fifty journalists, including ten from Belgaum, a Marathi- speaking district in Karnataka, led by Sameer Deshpande, divisional secretary of Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Patrakar Parishad, gathered at in front of DIO's office this evening and staged demonstration with shouting slogans for their various demands. They also expressed their protest against threat to senior journalist Dr Subhash Desai from an unidentified person.
