Gujarati news channel claims it conducted exit poll in Gandhinagar

A Gujarati news channel VTV News has predicted Congress party’s victory in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation(GMC) polls, voting for which took place yesterday.
The channel claimed it conducted exit poll covering 1260 voters. As per the results of survey, Congress would get 18 to 20 out of total 32 seats in GMC while BJP will get 14 to 16 seats.
The channel further said Patidar community has domination in ward number 1, 3 and 8 while other wards such as 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are dominated by Other Backward Class(OBC) voters.
