Puducherry Chief Minister and All India NR Congress (AINRC) president N. Rangasamy said that the list of his party candidates would be known on April 29, the last date of filing nominations. He added that the schemes implemented by his government had reached the people and he is confident of winning again.
Speaking to media persons after offering prayers at Appa Paithiyam Swami temple here on Sunday evening, he said that his government had fulfilled all promises, given both during election campaigns and in the Assembly, and expressed confidence of winning in this election. Asked whether the party would face the election alone or in collation with other parties, he said that announcement would be made at appropriate time. About AIADMK MP R. Gopalakrishnan meeting him, Mr. Rangasamy said that the MP used to visit him frequently. Later, he left for Puducherry.
