Khanduri suitable leader: BJP MLA

Dehradun, April 24

BJP MLA from Lansdowne Dilip Rawat today said that Garhwal MP BC Khanduri was the most acceptable BJP leader in the state. 

Dilip Rawat, in a statement issued here, said there was no question of accepting leadership of anyone in the state other than Khanduri.

His statement comes at a time when the BJP’s Central leadership is reportedly trying to give responsibility to BJP national executive member and former Union minister Satpal Maharaj to bring Congress and PDF MLAs to the party’s fold. Dilip Rawat said any move on the part of the BJP to project Satpal Maharaj as leader would be opposed.— TNS
