The Tele-ECG model developed by doctors of Dr RP Govt Medical College, Tanda, has been acknowledged by the American College of Cardiology.
The findings of the Tele-ECG project were presented by Principal Investigator Dr Vivek Chauhan, at Chicago, US, during the 65th Annual Conference of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr Vivek Chauhan said ECG machines were provided at eight Community Health Centres of the district.
A 24-hour toll free helpline was established at the DRPGMC, Tanda, for the diagnosis of heart attack through Tele-ECG.
Dr PC Negi, Dr Sujeet Raina, Dr Sunil Raina, Dr Rajesh Guleri, Dr Mukul Bhatnagar, Dr. ikrant Kanwar, and Er KS Pandey were the co-investigators in the project.
Dr Anil Chauhan, Principal, DRPGMC, Tanda, congratulated the team for their innovation and informed that a proposal has been submitted to the National Health Mission to extend the project.
