Sunday morning saw a mental health awareness campaign being carried out on bicycles.
Taskeen, a mental health awareness initiative, organised an awareness ride from Sea View, Clifton, to adjoining areas of Defence Housing Authority. The ride was organised in collaboration with social service organisation Critical Mass Karachi.

Riders also adorned stickers on the backs of their shirts to promote the upcoming theatre play of director Hamza Bangash, titled Suno, which will be held at Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, from April 27 till April 30.
One of the participants, Ali Zain, told The Express Tribune "why not ride with a reason; a reason that promotes love among people."
Adults and children participated in the ride alike. Kazim, who was riding with his father, said that cycling makes him happy and fresh.
Ambreen, who had come with her daughter, said children do not understand the gravity of mental illnesses. "By bringing them here, we can make them aware of how to participate in society and take care of those in need," she said.
