Tele-ECG model of Tanda Endorsed by American College of Cardiology

Dharamshala, Apr 24 (UNI) The Tele-ECG model developed by doctors of Dr R P Govt Medical College Tanda has been acknowledged by the American college of Cardiology.
The findings of Tele-ECG project were presented by the Principal Investigator, Dr. Vivek Chauhan, at Chicago, US during the 65th Annual Conference of the American College of Cardiology this month.
Dr Chauhan told reporters here that the doctors working in eight rural Community Health Centers of this District were provided with ECG machines and a 24-hour toll free helpline was established at DRPGMC Tanda for the diagnosis of Heart attack through Tele-ECG. All ECGs received through Tele-ECG were reported within 5 minutes by the doctors at Tanda.
