Ahmedabad: Cops nabbed Raju Baldev Rabari and Bhavin Rabari for firing on the car of multiplex owner Arpit Mehta at Nava Vadaj on 8 March.
In a land dispute, Gova Rabari, presently lodged in jail, had taken a contract from Vishram Gami of Vasna, who had a land dispute with Mehta. Mehta had mentioned in his complaint that he was attacked by Vishram's brother Deepak and a man named Raju Rabari about two months back as he had denied to pay Rs 10 crore to Vishram, said a crime branch official.
As Mehta did not succumb to their demands Gami had given a contract to Gova Rabari to eliminate him.
"On 8 March, Raju and Bhavin came on bike near his house at Karuna Park Society in Nava Vadaj and sped away after firing on his car," added a police official.
